1 August – August Newsletter from Glenmore

Winter thyme, roses and sugar snap peas….

Hello everyone,

I hope you’ve had some time during these winter months to curl up in front of a warm fire, to dream, and to plan for the spring and summer ahead (at least when not hacking away at this season’s great task of pruning!).  To see what I’ve been up to, do have a look at my recent blog posts…

Well – its time to drag yourself out of the doldrums and make some plans.  I’ve been hesitating to remind you of our MAKING CAKES DAY as I really must keep it small for fear of it turning into utter chaos!  But – I think I can squeeze in just two more places, so if you’d like to join in the fun for my repertoire of cakes next FRIDAY 10 AUGUST, please click here to make a booking.

Our next KITCHEN GARDENING DAY, an Introduction to Kitchen Gardening Spring/Summer, on FRIDAY 31 AUGUST has just a few places left.  This will be an exciting day to attend…..full of information, and it already consists of a group who are embarking upon growing their own veg for the very first time.  The garden here is growing towards peak seasonal produce, and by the end of the month, there should be great bounty to appreciate.  To snap up one of those last places available, and for more information, please click here.

There are two spring SEASONAL COOKING DAYS in the calendar:  FRIDAY 14 SEPTEMBER and FRIDAY 5 OCTOBER.  For those of you who haven’t taken part in these cooking days before, I take only 6 participants maximum, and we have great fun harvesting from the garden, cooking and eating some of my favourite things.

Plenty of other excitements are planned.   In the meantime, if you have any questions about the days, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes as always,

Mickey
