HERBAL WORKSHOP

Herbal tisanes from the garden…

Hello everyone,

The topsy turvy uncertainty of these times has delivered us a handful of available places at our last HERBAL GARDEN WORKSHOP for this year, with Paddington based naturopath, herbalist and author ANTHIA KOULLOUROS on FRIDAY 12 NOVEMBER (next week).

I know it’s short notice but what a huge treat it will be for all those who join us! With the new season’s herbs in fine leaf after the winter months there will be delicious just-picked tisanes to sip throughout the day; and with the summer season’s veg newly in the ground, there will  be plenty to discuss so that the day equals its name: SEASONAL EATING & THE HERBAL GARDEN FOR HEALTH

Anthia’s HERBAL DAYS are ones I so look forward to: A slow garden ramble kicks us off as we pause to hear the benefit to our health of a cornucopia of plant material…of varieties that any of us can grow in our gardens. As a result, participants always feel more confident in incorporating an abundance of garden morsels into their diets in inventive ways, and for a wide range of reasons. Listening to Anthia extoll the theraputic and medicinal quality of botanicals is always enlightening and joyous; the information she shares backed up by her encyclopaedic knowledge. The morning’s wander is then consolidated back in the Dairy as Anthia runs through the notes she provides for everyone; and participants can continue to pose questions and listen to her wise words.  A seasonal, garden inspired lunch punctuates the day; then during the afternoon session everyone makes a collection of treats to take home. I can’t begin to convey the fun of those afternoon sessions…the aromas and mixing, concocting and labelling as you sip a constantly refreshed brew.

How I hope you find yourself with a blank day in your diary, so you can zip here for a day of pure refreshment!

All the details are here and the booking form here.  If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact  me.

This seasonal series has been such a delight to run this year. Whilst we were lucky to get the first two off the ground (Late Summer and Autumn) I’m sorry we missed the Mid-Spring instalment thanks to lockdown (hence the chaos over postponements etc). But for a handful of lucky peeps, the opportunity to participate in this one awaits!

Anthia and I will so hope to see you here.

Very best wishes,

Mickey
