SEASONAL EATING & THE HERBAL GARDEN for HEALTH with ANTHIA KOULLOUROS FRIDAY 12 NOVEMBER 

Late spring / early summer…This season may see us experiencing the odd very hot day already…there’s a sense of anticipation in the air as we romp towards summer. Veg at this time are unpredictable…globe artichokes and the last broad bean harvest may be early or late! We should see the first asparagus, and perhaps the first new potatoes; almost certainly there will be new garlic, fine leeks, plentiful rhubarb, beetroot, the first fresh fennel seeds (and pollen!). The kitchen garden is alive with seed heads allowed to mature, grown full cycle…a vision to behold. And the ornamental garden is at its peak; full, with the scent of newly opened jasmin on the breeze…summer is coming!

COVID SAFE RULES WILL APPLY ON THE DAY including double vaccination check and QR code scan on entry. Physical distancing rules will apply, as will wearing a mask inside if that particular rule is still applicable on the date. WE ASK THAT  YOU PLEASE NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL UNWELL. Should that be the unfortunate case, we ask you to please advise your situation as soon as possible so we can attempt to fill your space.
