I should have cleverly strung this up somewhere with fishing line for the best photographic effect, but even with me holding it, I think perhaps you will get the picture! I think with its roots in tact, it is quite arresting and would make a good subject for a botanical illustration…
Kohl Rabi is quite beautiful growing in a clump in the garden – its blue-grey leaves with purple ribs & bulbous form are soft on the eye and a good contrast with other veg.
As for eating it…..its growing on me!
