Event name: WINTER GARDEN RECITAL & LUNCH, SUNDAY 17 JULY
Bach, Broth and a Wintersweet Treat…where we’ll trail cellist Darsha Kumar (pied-piper style) to numerous spots in the garden to pause and swoon over excerpts from the Bach Suites for Unaccompanied Cello.
A herbal garden tisane on arrival will ensure you’re well hydrated for the leisurely music-filled garden wander, and at one of our designated recital spots, a fennel, lemon, pea & broth shot will set your tastebuds singing too!
We’ll finally be drawn to the Dairy where the recital will reach its dizzying crescendo, where bowls of steaming golden broth and winter dumplings by Love & Bones Broth await; alongside sourdough, a luscious gooey cheese and…to end, a generous slither of citron tart by Angela Palermo made with lemons from the garden here at Glenmore. A little tipple, tea, coffee…and the Barn will open after lunch!
Gather your friends or come alone…make a plan for a lovely day out!
Arrival 11.15 for 11.30 wandering recital. Lunch 1pm. End 2.30 / 3.00pm.
Should the weather be poor, we’ll enjoy the recital in front of the fire in the Dairy…so the day will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
