From our Kitchen Gardening days to Seasonal Cooking days and Special Events, it seems everyone enjoys the Glenmore House experience.

Here are just a few of the past participant comments and recommendations we’ve received:

“I had the most fabulous day at Glenmore and whilst I don’t have a formal vege garden,  I walked away with knowledge I didn’t have and the experience of connecting with some wonderful people whilst breathing in the beauty of Glenmore and it’s surrounds… so, a big thank you to you and Linda for making that day so unique and special for me.”

“Thank you so much for the most wonderful cooking day last Wed. It was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.  It is so nice to have some time to oneself and feel nurtured. None of us has any time like this ‘just for ourselves’ and it felt strange but nice, to actually just enjoy myself and be taught for once!”

“I just wanted to thank you once again for a really lovely day on Friday.  It was very informative and inspiring and I hope to use quite a few of the principals you have in place in your wonderful garden at Glenmore House.  I have already used the gorgeous ball of string I bought to tie up my passionfruit over the weekend. Hope to see you again out there soon.”

“I had such a lovely time with you all. It was wonderful to see your beautiful garden, pick the produce then help prepare the lunch. Such a glorious treat of a day away from the rush and bustle. I will definitely be back, but also with other girlfriends whom I know would love the day.”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you, for a wonderful day on Friday.  I cant believe how much I learnt in one day, I only realised when I was telling my husband and friends this weekend.  I already feel that from being a complete novice, I would actually be able to go and start my own garden, aimed with a plan.  Its very empowering…..  I have also ploughed my way through half of that delicious jam, on sprouted kamut toast with lots of home made goats curd… yummy!”

“Had a great day. I liked the small group as you were able to become more involved in the cooking process. My peas and broad beans are coming on so I’m looking forward to using my own produce for the risotto, maybe. Thanks Mickey. I’m already looking forward to the next one.”

“I had such a lovely day, and the food was amazing. Being a veggie, any vegetarian food is always top of my list, plus using less common veggies, that I wouldn’t normally know what to do with (the Jerusalem Artichoke was a goodie, as I love artichoke, but have always been a bit scared of it!).”

“It was fabulous and I’ve made the cake, quinoa, stock and lamb , each several times!!  Brilliant. Keep up the fantastic work you do – I am so impressed and look forward to the next cooking day.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the day and I learned so much, especially about properly preparing grains – very important if you have a gluten problem like me. Most of all I enjoy the fellowship of like-minded people.”

“Thank you for a wonderful day on Friday. I really enjoyed it and was completely re- invigorated. I have baked rhubarb  crumble and been extremely domestic this weekend my husband and children are a bit worried thinking it is another mid life crisis but quite happy  as it means I do not have to go and climb a high altitude  mountain. Your passion is worth “ bottling” a you are a rare precious sole, thank you for opening my mind again in an area I closed a few years ago.”

“Firstly, thank you for providing such an excellent day on Friday.  Lunch was special, your garden was inspirational;  I loved every minute of it and Linda had so much information to impart.  Thank you all for making it so good and enthusing me to prune and plan over the weekend.  Secondly, the cake we had at morning tea was really delicious and please could I have the recipe?”

“Thank you so very much for the fabulous day I spent at Glenmore last month. It was so inspiring. I went home filled with enthusiasm for my vegie plot.  So much so that I was up early the following morning digging and plotting extensions to the beds.  I do so hope to catch a day here and there at Glenmore. It was so good for the soul too.”

Thank you for a wonderful day last Friday.  I thoroughly enjoyed the format, and the opportunity of meeting the very vibrant Linda.  Both you and Linda provided plenty of ideas and enthusiasm!  I am in awe of all your hard work and patience.

I just wanted to thank you and Linda for the most perfect day, it was amazing on so many levels. The gods were shining and we were blessed with the most glorious day, the lectures were right up my alley and I look forward to expanding my veggie patch and at least being able to grow magnificent tomatoes and the lunch and company was scintilating and inspiring. I’m off  tomorrow with the 16 year old L plate driver to get my ag pipe, bamboo canes etc etc. It is so good to feel excited about gardening again, thank you.
