Despite all good intentions to grow for self-sufficiency (and I do pretty well on that front!), I do sometimes wonder if deep down I don’t really just grow for the decorative aspect – its impossible to leave all those years behind!
Still life abounds in the Kitchen Garden, and what do you think about this purple cabbage for the middle of the kitchen table? We’re not really very likely to eat it (well, maybe….) but this has been nurtured just as carefully as any other veg through winter, just so that I can enjoy this vision!
