I’m always surprised when I find a mature cauliflower! They seem to be so slow to get started, then I’m sure I checked only a week ago to find nothing hiding in the centre of the sturdy folds of grey/blue leaves. But yesterday – surprise! I didn’t even get around to ‘pegging’ the leaves to hide this beauty from the sunshine. This one would be good enough for Charlotte to paint!
