Paul Bangay is undoubtedly one of Australia’s pre-eminent landscape designers and gardening authorities. The author of thirteen books (1996-2023), his work has been featured in a dozen other titles, as well as in countless magazines over the course of his thirty-plus year caeer. Aside from his professional achievements, Paul Bangay has consistently given his time to charitable, philanthropic and civic endeavours.

Since 2020 he has served as a Trustee for Cruden Farm, and has also served as a Foundation Board Member for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation 2011-2018; as an Ambassador for the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) since 2014 and an ambassador of Prince’s Trust Australia since 2018. In 2001, Paul was recognised with the Centenary Medal (General List) and in 2018 he was awarded a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for service to landscape architecture. In 2024 he received the Landscape Design Institute’s Landscape Design Master award, and Landscape Designer of the Year at the inaugural Vogue Living VL50 Mobilia awards.

Join us at 11am in the Hayshed for a herbal tisane on arrival. Then take your seat in the Dairy by 11.30 for a delightful conversation with Paul and Mickey, followed by Q&A.  A long-table, seasonal lunch prepared by The What If Society will follow, then book signing with Paul and time for a garden wander and potter in the Barn.
