FUTURESTEADING with author JADE MILES of BLACK BARN FARM, Saturday 5 March 2022
About Jade Miles & Futuresteading
instagram: @futuresteading @black_barn_farm
Author, facilitator, farmer, fair food advocate, podcaster and ‘futuresteader‘: the term Jade coined for the regenerative way she and her family pursue life, along with their feathered and furry menagerie on their farm in north-eastern Victoria. Jade herself is brimming with practical skills, recipes and rituals for a simpler life…and as the tagline of her book suggests: lives like tomorrow matters.
In Conversation with the author and Afternoon Tea…
Arrive at 2pm for a glass of elderflower cordial in the Hayshed.
An informal conversation and Q&A with Jade on ‘futuresteading’ will begin in the Dairy at 2.15, followed by a cuppa and cake at 3.00pm.
Jade will be very happy to sign your book during afternoon tea and you will be welcome to visit the Barn and linger longer in the garden!
*PLEASE NOTE THE RELEVENT COVID SAFE RULES WILL APPLY ON THE DAY AND WE ASK THAT YOU NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL UNWELL…(should that be the unfortunate case, we ask you to please advise your situation as soon as possible so we can attempt to fill your space…or that someone you nominate will be taking your place). At this stage, we expect it will be necessary to wear a mask inside the Dairy during Jade’s informal conversation and Q&A and also inside the Barn.
Cost $78.00 per person including a copy of Futuresteading (signed in person). Please let me know if you would like Jade to bring an extra copy or two for gifts.
