He’s running so late this year but finally….he crept in this morning, leaving patches of crispy white in the Kitchen Garden, while blanketing the lower paddocks. I was rather late with my camera (too cold for my poor fingers out there!), but I do love the speckled droplets and highlighted veins as the frost melts on nasturtium leaves….
And was surprised to discover he’d crept into the leafy green bed! While the radicchios will enjoy being ‘crisped’, the rows of baby butter lettuce and mignonette won’t have enjoyed the visit quite so much!
