Next Field of Flowers Workshops

Some playfulness that bobbed in the breeze as we lunched…

Hello everyone,

Before I launch in: please don’t think I haven’t taken pause and hesitated (in these days of harsh world and complex domestic affairs) to suggest the delightful concept outlined below. But I’ve come down on the side of going ahead, because if I can help put that distress so many of us are experiencing aside and lift the spirits for even a few short hours, I think it’s worth inviting you to join me here. Despite the multitude of problems that weigh heavily…mother nature continues to work her magic.

What a really lovely time was had by participants (and me!) at our very first FIELD OF FLOWERS WORKSHOP last week. Truly…it was a day filled to the very brim with pure, intoxicating joy. There was happy humming (to accompany that of the bees) to be heard early on in the field as we picked; and four participants lost themselves in the thrall of beauty and bounty, garden and landscape. Then, as each activity unfolded (each releasing more perfume, more colour) moments of silence and deep concentration were interspered with excitable bouts of chatter and delightful peels of laughter as new friendships unexpectedly formed.

As a result, I am excited to make it happen all over again and so am releasing two more dates: WEDNESDAY 25 and SATURDAY 28 OCTOBER. Whilst the season is here (and I can’t say how long it will last) hopefully opening a pair of dates from which to choose will give you an opportunity to attend one of these spontaneous days…before another whole year passes by!

I really don’t want to spill all the details of a FIELD OF FLOWERS WORKSHOP…for it’s the element of surprise in how the day unfolds that is such a key ingredient. Let’s just say…if you’d like a day of escape, to feel uplifted, to be as joyful and carefree as a child on a spring outing…and you love flowers (without need to arrange them!)…then you’re likely at the very least, to put your woes to one side for a moment.

Whilst it really is a lovely way to spend a day with a friend or two…you’re very welcome to come on your own. All the details are here BUT...please contact me to discuss which date you  would like to attend prior to completing the booking form…and I’ll be happy to guide you from there.

How I will hope to see you here, to frolic in the field and immerse in the sheer tactile and sensory beauty…of one idyllic, floralific day out!

With very best wishes

Mickey
