I just thought I’d follow up after my last post…..we do indeed now have multi-ruffled pretty poppies and many a spectacular plump bud ready to explode into flower!
I must confess though, that I find this loose-petalled beauty to be far more exquisite and elegant. Her deeply blotched, papery, muddled petals captured in Sunday’s late afternoon sunshine were all a-flutter in the breeze, and utterly captivating….
