Wherever I roam, the air is simply filled with heady perfume! It’s almost dizzying, and accompanies each task with pure joy.  I simply can’t wait to get up in the mornings!  From wisteria heavy with bloom and alive with the drone of bees, to the last trailing petals of jasmine, the abundant flush of citrus blossom to the puff-balls on the photinia hedge that has just exploded into flower (the last, to be honest, I can’t wait to shear off….oh but the smell – like creamed honey or the depths of the English countryside on a perfect summer’s day).

There is no other word for it, as everything bursts into leaf and bud…we are immersed in total intoxication….
