This evening’s pick….white ginger for the dressing table, rhubarb for breakfast.
Sadly I’ll be just a bit distracted with preparations for our own open gardennext weekend (you may have noticed!), but if you find yourself at a loose end, I know that Peta Trahar’s garden Woodgreen is open this weekend, 25 & 26 April, 25 Powell’s Road, Bilpin. Peta is convenor of the Collectors’ Plant Fair and for seven years, Woodgreen was the fair’s home. What better excuse could you need, to go to the mountains, breathe in that clear mountain air, enjoy the autumn colour (and surely buy some beautiful Bilpin apples on your way home!)?
Happy weekend everyone.
