Simple, yet satisfactory. Some days there is an awful lot to harvest….on others, not much at all, which can be a relief! For just a few days last week I was on my own, and it’s quite extraordinary how little one actually needs. The egg, of course, could have joined a dozen others, and the beans could have joined the collection in the fridge! But the figs….ah….right now they really are coming in just one at a time, which is exactly the way I like it….
Simplicity….
