While on the topic of seeds….do you remember my blog post entitled ‘fleeting companion’ a few months ago? Well, my friend remained in tact and dried on the stem, until he collapsed in the gale force winds last week. Sadly, he lost a few of the seeds from his perfect formation in the event, but the pattern is still pretty spectacular! (Now John is about to send me another email about sunflowers and the fibonacci code, which is beyond my brain’s capacity to fathom, but I love the concept!: Hi John!).
