There was a lot of chat, a roaring fire, lovely laughter, intense concentration and a dozen busy pairs of hands at today’s Weaving Workshop with Harriet Goodall.  Such activity requires sustenance, and our group  enjoyed the best I could muster from the autumn Kitchen Garden.

Rhubarb cake in front of the fire for morning tea…
Garden leaves & petals with….
roast Jerusalem artichokes, sprinkled with thyme and baby leaf amaranth;  to accompany that Tuscan Peasant Soup I got underway yesterday.  And then the quinces (oops, forgot to photograph them!).
Harriet still tweaking and explaining at the day’s conclusion…..

A big thank you to Harriet for yet another idyllic workshop at Glenmore.  And well done to all our participants for creating spectacular pieces – I knew you would!!
