Preparation for Holly’s book launch on Friday is well underway…..I had the crazy idea of using the recipes I provided in the Glenmore House chapter of the book (Country Gardens Country Hospitality) as inspiration for the day, and so consequently, I’ve given myself a rather manic task!

See yesterday’s post where I made raspberry jam (no….our canes aren’t in fruit quite yet, though they are in flower – but I had a good quantity of frozen ones I’d picked in the autumn, so with new ones one the way, it seemed rather silly to keep them frozen any longer).  Now I have a fantastic batch of jam with a deep, rich, fruity taste.

And we also have raspberry ice cream for everyone to have a little taste to end the day on Friday….
