AUTUMN EVENTS UPDATE from GLENMORE HOUSE

Autumn bounty on the bench…

Hello everyone,

I just thought to pop in with a little event update on this Easter weekend (when I hope you’re able to take the opportunity for a few quiet days to breathe and restore) as we mark the end of the first busy chapter of the year alongside traditional reflection and celebration.

I wanted to let you know there are a few places left at next weekend’s much anticipated AFTERNOON and TWILIGHT SUPPER with author of ITALIAN COASTAL, AMBER GUINNESS.

We are so looking forward to meeting Amber, listening to her stories, eating recipes from Italian Coastal (prepared by Harriet Davidson) and to getting our hands on a copy of that beaut, hefty book with its fabulous blue & white cover that’s bulging with enough recipes and images of food, landscape, seascape and Italian life..to make us swoon! I imagine the atmosphere from Hayshed apertivo to Loggia supper…will be quite animated (and have no doubt chins will be dripping with the flavours of Italy!).

We have a rather quirky, surprise collaboration up our sleeve too, to set off Amber’s recipes and the table…I can’t wait to play and for the lovely last-minute reveal!

Come...join the fun! We’d love to see you here to enjoy the final twilight hours before the clocks change! You can find the details and booking form here.

And…

Don’t forget our COOK, FEAST and POETRY with CADE McCONNELL on SUNDAY 14 APRIL when the elements of PLANTS, CLAY, FIREand words will be at play.

After the cooking and feasting are done…we’ll be heading down to the ring of rock for Cade to share a few verses before everyone sets off. It’s the very first time we’ll be sharing this space…I’ve been waiting for just the right moment, and with Cade’s reverence for nature and Country, as much as every morsel and ingredient he prepares…this particular moment feels just right.

You can find all the details and booking form for Cade’s very special event here.

Yes…I know these two events are like chalk and cheese and just a week apart! Therein…(quite literally methinks!!) lies the very spice of life!

How I hope to see you here! Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.

Wishing everyone a very, very happy Easter. I’m off to the garden where there is a lot...to do!

Mickey
