FESTIVE WILLOW, VINE & FOLIAGE WORKSHOP at GLENMORE

A festive workshop of wreaths, hearts and stars….willow, foliage and vine….

Hello everyone,

I know many of you have been looking forward to the announcement of this festive workshop with PENNY SIMONS on FRIDAY 2 DECEMBER: WILLOW, VINE & FOLIAGE for WREATHS, STARS & HEARTS.  What a fun way to begin the frivolity that December is bound to bring!

I have no doubt Penny will have you manipulating your materials with enthusiasm and a deft hand by the end of the morning session.  She’s such a generous, patient and encouraging teacher and under her guidance you will make delightful creations to take home, using the bounty of material that Penny will forage especially for the workshop.   Trestle tables will be set in the Dairy and Loggia so you have space to work, and just for a change, we’ll enjoy lunch at the long table in the Hayshed – something encapsulating ‘early summer’….we’ll see what the kitchen garden yields closer to the time.

As I write, I envision a hint of summer in the air, filled with a sense of anticipation and a lot of chatter….a treat before the hurly burly sets in (and I’m guessing I’m not the only one who needs a new wreath this year!). You can discover all the details of the day and the booking form here.  And if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.  Penny and I very much hope you will be tempted to join us for a day of creativity and fun!

Very best wishes as always,
Mickey

ps There are just a few places left at Summer Kitchen Gardening on Saturday 26 November – the ideal opportunity to glean all the tips you need to nurture your garden through the summer months. I hope you’ve been busy planting but don’t worry if you’re still going……I haven’t finished yet either! All details here.
