Invitation to The Land Gardeners

Bridget Elworthy and Henrietta Cortauld, are the Land Gardeners…

Hello everyone

I am truly excited to invite you to join THE LAND GARDENERS, Bridget Elworthy and Henrietta Cortauld here on FRIDAY 03 NOVEMBER.

Renowned the world over for their work not just with flowers but with the landthe precious soil that lies beneath our feet…a conversation with Bridget and Henrietta promises not just the pretty, but the substance. It’s long been my belief that you cannot have one without the other and this is the reason I’m so excited for you to have the opportunity to meet both girls (as they pass fleetingly through enroute to NZ). Of course they are engaging conversationalists with a delightful story…alongside significant messaging to convey. The day promises to be one of pure enchantment and no…you don’t have to be a gardener to attend!

We’ll kick off at 11am with a glass of herbal tisane when you arrive at the Hayshed. Take your seats by 11.30 in the Dairy for a rhapsodic encounter with the girls as they share their narrative, their wealth of experience and inspire you with their knowledge. There will be time for Q&A before an informal seasonal, garden-inspired lunch in the loggia.  And then, there will be time for book signing, to wander the garden and to potter in the Barn.

All the details and the booking form are here and I encourage you not to hesitate as this is such a rare opportunity and numbers will be strictly limited.

You can also pre-order to collect on the day, copies of their beautiful and informative, just released book Soil to Table and the girls’ previously published Cut Flowers. If you don’t already own a copy of The Land Gardeners Cut Flowers, how I encourage you to order one of these sumptuous beauties too! A pigeon pair would make a beautiful present for anyone with a passion for gardens, interiors, flowers, food, growers, farmers..and soil of course! But please don’t dwell on that thought for long because the books need to be shipped and we need to confirm numbers asap! Phew…what a whirl!

As ever, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch. As I ended in my ‘save  the date’ last week…I’ll say it again…I know the opportunity to meet this pair of inspirational women of flowers and soil is one that so many of you will not want to miss!

We will all much look forward to welcoming you here.

With very best wishes,

Mickey
