SPECIAL CHRISTMAS DAYS at GLENMORE

Baskets, seedlings, hats, dresses and…..books!

Hello everyone,

You may remember I opened the Barn as a one-off in the lead-up to Christmas last year….and it was fun!

Given the recent launch of THE HOUSE AND GARDEN AT GLENMORE, I thought I’d do it once again…..just in case you’d like to call in to buy a copy or two of the book as a Christmas pressie (I’ve had such lovely feedback from those who have read it already…cover to cover they tell me, as well as those who are cooking the recipes with success and getting a better handle on their Kitchen Gardens and the real order of seasonal organic produce, which makes me happy).  If you’d like to know a little bit more about the book, just this week Amber Cresswell Bell has written a review on The Planthunter (much better coming from someone other than me!).

I’ll also have a small number of dresses and hats available (the latter just as good at the beach as the garden) and there will be seedlings too – of my favourite rosemary, lavender and artemisia (plus a few other treasures who’s roots are longing to escape their little coir pots).  What better Christmas pressies can you imagine?  Book, hat, dress, plants! And perhaps a basket to pop them all into :)  Oh and aprons.….almost forgot those! I also have another little surprise up my sleeve, but I’ll let you know if that’s likely to happen closer to the time.

The two special days will be: FRIDAY 9 & SATURDAY 10 DECEMBER, 10am – 4pm both days.  It’s not Open Garden….just me in the Barn, and I’ll be happy to chat and give you some Kitchen Gardening advice on the run.  And of course, I’ll be happy to sign books for whomever they may be destined :)

I’ll look forward to seeing you here!

Very best wishes
Mickey

ps If you can’t make it along then, I can easily post a copy of the book – all details here. And….I’ll be adding the 2017 Schedule to the Calendar and Events page on the website in late January.
